- We are Bill and Amanda Moore. We adopted our daughter,Lilah Than Thuy, from Lang Son Vietnam June 1, 2007. We were living in Hawaii when we adopted(the blog was born). We moved to Seattle Oct 2007. Our home grown daughter Aubrey Jane was born Feb 22, 2008. In 9 months we had 2 daughters! Our 2 blessings are 13 months apart in age, we are very busy!

So sweet! I love the pictures...get used to that pose, and to losing all sensation in your arm frequently! My son is 3 and there are still times in the early morning we end up like that! She is gorgeous!

I have been following your adoption process for the last couple of days. It is so exciting, especially to read that you are using the same agency as we are. We just sent our last document to the consulate...all others are being translated. Your daughter is beautiful...I hope you can get some rest...its an adjustment period. Be safe

Now that's the picture I was waiting to see...I love seeing Thuy in your arms! FINALLY! She looks comfy with daddy in the baby carrier, too! I don't think your night is at all uncommon...we had them and still do! Sounds like you did just great and are exhausted like all new parents! How wonderful to have an extended family to celebrate with you! Can't wait to read more AND don't worry about the parents who had the "dream night"...there time will come :)

Oh my gosh!!!She is absolutely beautiful. It brings tears of happiness to my eyes just to see how happy you both look holding your little angel. Mandy you look like an all pro with the snuggling there- I told you it would all come natural for you. I am so happy that every thing went well @ Gotcha Day.
